Kovachevski, Bytyqi and Spasovski extend their condolences to victims of Türkiye earthquake

Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski extended his condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake which struck the area near the city of Gaziantep on Monday, wishing a quick recovery to the injured.

“We are deeply saddened by the terrible news of the earthquake in Türkiye. On behalf of the citizens of North Macedonia, I express my deepest condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the lost lives and wish a quick recovery to the injured,” said Kovachevski.

Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs, Fatmir Bytyqi offered his condolences to the Turkish people and wished a quick recovery to the injured as well.

“Condolences to the Turkish people, a speedy recovery to the injured and hope for consolation for all those who lost someone in the strong earthquake that struck Türkiye this morning,” said Bytyqi.

Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski extended his condolences to the Turkish people and noted that the Macedonian police is ready to help in these difficult moments for the friendly Turkish and Syrian people.

“On my behalf and on behalf of the Ministry, I express my deepest condolences to the Turkish and Syrian people, to the families of over 500 people who died in the catastrophic earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The Macedonian police stands ready to help in these difficult moments for the friendly Turkish and Syrian people,” wrote Spasovski.
